Free of Him evokes callous images of two failing marriages: one set within Sydney's elite business class, the other in a battling suburban household. Three sisters band together to plot and scheme a big con against their menacing and overly domineering husbands.
The book highlights the void between three sisters, Wosi, Kaitlin, and Bridget, entangled with one another as Wosi faces her wedded menace and plans his ruin. The sisters combine their unique and individual talents to pull off a scam that matches any quality con. They have their 'mark' and gain inspiration from a veteran grafter, but as their journey unfolds, the sisters fear they are out of their depth.
Giving an often sharp depiction of the harsh reality of modern relations, Free of Him ignites passion for the stories of women - past and current. Readers will empathetically identify with these not-so-ordinary women who fervently refuse to fall victim to the mediocre.
